Napas Flooring (registered in Florida as Napa's Flooring LLC) installs, refinishes and repairs floors in homes across Manatee and Sarasota counties. The company works as a service-area business: there is no showroom, so estimates, samples and measurements happen in the home where the floor will be installed.

What we install
The work covers engineered and solid hardwood, luxury vinyl plank and SPC, porcelain, ceramic and natural-stone tile, laminate, hardwood refinishing, stair treads (including converting carpeted stairs to wood or vinyl) and floor repair after leaks, pets or wear. Old-floor removal, slab preparation, moisture testing, transitions and trim are handled as part of the same scope.
Product advice follows the house, not the price list. A slab home, a second-floor condo and a 1960s block home with terrazzo under the carpet each need a different preparation plan, and the estimate explains why one floor fits better than another before anything is ordered.
How a project works
- In-home estimate. Rooms are measured, samples are compared in your light, and the existing floor and subfloor are inspected.
- Written quote within 24 hours. Product, waste factor, removal, preparation, moisture control, transitions, trim and furniture handling each appear on their own line.
- Material and scheduling. Material is ordered after approval; condo and HOA paperwork is completed before the start date.
- Preparation and testing. The slab or subfloor is tested and flattened to the product’s written tolerance.
- Installation and walkthrough. The floor is installed to the manufacturer’s instructions, then walked with you before the final payment.
- Warranty. A written 12-month workmanship warranty covers the installation; the manufacturer covers the material.

- “Rafael did my parent’s flooring and he was amazing.” — Elias Matta

Standards we work to
- Manufacturer installation instructions come first, because they decide whether the product warranty applies.
- Wood floors are referenced to the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) installation guidelines.
- Tile follows the TCNA Handbook methods and the ANSI A108/A118 installation standards.
- Moisture testing uses the method the product names, such as ASTM F2170 relative-humidity probes or ASTM F1869 calcium chloride tests.
- Certificate of insurance available on request for homeowners, condo associations and property managers.
A note on licensing in Florida
Florida does not issue a state contractor license for floor-covering installation, and section 489.117(4)(a)1 of the Florida Statutes says a local government may not require a state or local license to obtain a permit for flooring and tile installation job scopes. That is why this site does not claim a flooring license number. When a project includes plumbing, electrical or structural work, that portion follows its own permit and licensing rules.
